Our story
Where Others Saw Need, We Saw Potential
In 2023, during the pandemic, a small group responded to an urgent call from a neglected community in Yarinacocha Tushmo, Pucallpa, deeply affected by extreme poverty and lack of access to basic services.
From that moment, Hope of Life was born, focused on delivering sustainable solutions that create long-term change.
Today, we work in partnership with "Asociación Familia con Propósito", actively serving communities in the Amazon region of Pucallpa, Peru.

What We Encountered
-
Severe childhood malnutrition
-
Domestic violence and child abuse
-
High school dropout rates
-
Limited access to education, health care, and personal development opportunities
Our response
We moved beyond emergency aid to implement programs that address root causes; nutrition, education, health, and community development.
We sow hope, one story at a time.

Progress

1
How we started
Our organization began by expanding an existing community kitchen, with the goal of increasing its capacity and serving a greater number of children in needed. We recognized that without proper nutrition, it is very difficult for children to learn and grow.

2
Here we are today
We have a dining room equipped with a kitchen and bathrooms, which also serves as a space for classes and community activities.
Currently we provide food to 95 children, three times a week, we have provided decent housing and we strengthen basic educational programs.
